Foreign reports say that 400 people are missing in the floods in Nepal, of which 291 are foreign tourists.

The floods have occurred in the Botkoshi River, which flows through the Rasuwa area.
The reason for the rise in the water level of this river, which flows near the China-Tibet border, is reported to be a sudden influx of water due to melting snow. It is reported that this sudden melting of snow is due to an earthquake in the area.

A landslide with ice and rocks from a glacier on the Nepal border has blocked the Lende Kola River, a tributary of the Botkoshi River, causing a flood situation.
