Indian opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sri Lankan fast bowler Asitha Fernando have been fined by the International Cricket Council. This is in relation to an inappropriate physical altercation during the second India-Lanka Test at the SSC Stadium in Colombo.
Both players have been charged with breaching Article 2.12 of the ICC Code of Conduct. Both players have pleaded guilty and have been fined 25% of their match fees by the International Cricket Council without further investigation.
