Reducing the diesel was not enough to reduce the bus fare

The National Transport Commission says that there will be no change in the bus fare even though the price of diesel is reduced by 15 rupees.

They point out that in order to lower the bus fares, the price of diesel must be reduced by at least 4 percent, but the price of diesel has not come down enough to lower the bus fares.

However, in the previous fuel price revision, the price of a liter of auto diesel was reduced by 10 rupees and accordingly, the price of diesel has been reduced by 25 rupees in the last period.

However, the National Transport Commission further said that they are discussing about giving some relief to the passengers.
