It is reported that it has been decided to close the Sapugaskanda oil refinery from tomorrow due to the shortage of crude oil.
Sources from the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) say that although several companies have placed orders for crude oil, the date of receipt of the orders has not been confirmed yet and the supply of crude oil has become problematic due to the current shortage of dollars.
